BTP: Explanation for business result in Quarter 2/2013
Ba Ria Thermal Power Joint Stock Company has explained the difference in profit between Quarter 2/2013 and Quarter 2/2012:
- In 2012, revenue from January to May, electricity price has temporarily applied as electricity price of 2011. In June, 2012, electricity price has temporarily applied as electricity price of 2012, leading total revenue after adjusting: VND129.4 billion. Therefore, profit in Quarter 2/2012 increased.
- From January, 2013, electricity price has temporarily applied as electricity price of 2012, so profit in Quarter 2/2013 was less than in Quarter 2/2012.
- Profit in the first 6 months of 2013 increased compared to the same period of last year because interest of exchange rate differences in the first 6 months of 2013 was VND32.7 billion.
